Welcome to Titan Stucco & Masonry!
Our story begins with a deep-rooted history in the Ponoka, Lacombe, and Red Deer areas, where I worked alongside a family run stucco business. I was excited to continue building on that foundation and a few years later moved away and started my own stucco business. In 2016, I moved back to Ponoka with my wife Kate. Since then, Titan Stucco & Masonry has grown and flourished, and we are proud to be a part of the community and area we both love so much.
My son joined the business in 2017 and has since become an invaluable part of our team. He and his family are an important part of our company's future. They also live in Ponoka and love this area. We’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming Kate’s son River to the team, whose extensive experience in estimating and project management strengthens our operations and helps ensure our projects run smoothly.

Steve Esch
Owner & Operator
Steve is the owner and operator of Titan Stucco & Masonry. With over 33 years of experience in the stucco and masonry industry, Steve’s passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence define the heart of our company. Outside of work, you’ll often find him on the golf course—likely enjoying the game with his loved ones by his side. He loves spending time with his family, and his greatest joy is playing with his two grandchildren, who light up his world.
Kate Esch
Office Manager
Kate is our Chief Financial Officer and Office Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She oversees our finances, manages accounts, and keeps operations on track. If you call the office, she is likely the one you will be talking to. Kate enjoys the beauty of central Alberta and loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Derek Esch
Operations and Crew Lead
Derek, Steve’s son, has been working alongside his dad for years, bringing experience, hard work, and dedication to every project. As a father and husband, Derek values family and community. Like his father, Derek enjoys golfing and can often be found hitting the links with family after a productive day of work or spending time with his wife and kids.
Sarah Esch
Marketing & Social Media
Sarah, Derek’s wife, manages our marketing and social media efforts. With a creative eye and a passion for connecting with people, Sarah ensures our customers stay informed and engaged. As a wonderful daughter-in-law, she supports the family business while cherishing her time as a mother, watching her children grow.
River Melanson
Estimator
River, Kate’s son, is our skilled Estimator. With his expertise in organizing and managing projects, River ensures that every detail is addressed from start to finish. His knowledge and commitment to quality make him an essential part of our team. Outside of his role at Titan, River of course, enjoys golfing—it's hard to be part of the Titan team and not love the game! He's also a skilled musician and places a strong emphasis on the importance of family, which aligns perfectly with the values of our business.
